Happy Anniversary!

Thought you might like to see this card made by Carole Cann as an anniversary card featuring Ma and Pa Iggly.  Carole Stamped Ma and Pa using black Versafine inkpad added a bit of colour with watercolour pens and finally a bit of bling with Stickles and

Glossy accents.  She also used Bazill Dotted Swiss for the background and cut the oval freehand, then added a peeloff

Don’t they make a lovely couple!  I bet they deserve each other!

Thanks for visiting, see you again soon

Hi here’s a great card from Carol Staples, for women of a certain age!

Carol has used Cuttlebug embossing folder swiss dots plus the scalloped circle Nestabilities, coloured her image with Twinkling H2Os and a touch of  glitter on the frock, shoe and handbag and white glaze pen for the whites of her eyes which really does make them come alive

Inside the card it says – Don’t worry it’s age and hormones!!

Thanks for visiting, hope to see you soon

Todays blog candy winner as chosen at random by Ian (my other/better half) is Jackie Scales.  Well done Jackie. please reply to my eamil and we’ll send your candy out to you!

Also well done to the people who came into the shop today and gave Ian a gentle nudge towards sorting out the second studio at The Craft Barn, he’s feeling suitably nagged and is threatening to find out how to post something of his own on the blog (am I bovvered?)

Thanks for visiting, see you soon

a card from Carol Staples

Before I start I must apologise for the quality of the photography, I have never been very good at taking pictures but I hope you can still appreciate Carol’s fun card despite the photoscscard1

Carol used Pa Iggly which she coloured with her favourite Twinkling H2O’s plus the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder and Nestabilities scalloped and plain circles for the front of the card

Carol wrote all the text by hand and created the striped wallpaper with a paintbrush – oh for a steady hand!

She created a pop up from the base card for the top end of the bed and supported the bottom of the bed with a piece of acetate which she scrored and folded to create a square and then attached to the bed and card.
